Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 02/12/25
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Ironize does not collect any of the following personal information:
- Name or username
- Email address
- Location data
- Health data (as defined by Apple HealthKit)
- Device or usage data
- Photos or media files unless explicitly added by you (see below)
2. Information You Provide Locally
Users may optionally take and attach a photo of a workout machine when creating a custom exercise. These photos:
- Are stored locally on your device and optionally in iCloud if enabled
- Are not transmitted to any external server
- Are not visible to the app developer
3. Data Storage
All workout logs and custom exercises are stored:
- Locally on the user's device
- Optionally backed up through Apple iCloud (if enabled by the user)
Ironize does not transmit this data to any third-party server, nor is it accessible by the developer unless Apple provides anonymous usage statistics through standard developer tools.
4. Data Sharing & Sales
We do not:
- Sell any user data
- Share user data with third parties
- Use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs at this time
In the future, anonymous app usage data may be used to improve the app or personalize features using AI—but only in a way that respects your privacy.
5. Security
Ironize relies on Apple's default security protocols and iCloud encryption for data protection. No additional encryption methods are implemented by the app itself.
6. User Controls
- You may manually delete individual workout entries, photos, or exercises from within the app.
- There is currently no 'Delete All' feature. Data must be removed one entry at a time.
- There is no account or contact method provided for data access or export.
7. Children's Privacy
Ironize is available for users aged 4 and older. No personal information is knowingly collected from children under 13, and no account registration is required.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect future app features or privacy practices. When changes occur, users will be informed via:
- An in-app notice or
- A message in the App Store update notes
9. Contact
If you have any concerns about privacy, we recommend disabling iCloud backups for Ironize via your device settings.
